Bench-top Centrifuges MIKRO 22/22 R Non-refrigerated/Refrigerated
The MIKRO 22 and MIKRO 22 R are small, compact bench-top centrifuges for processing microlitre tubes of 0.2 ml to 2.0 ml, and hematocrit capillaries.
Yet, they have a lot more to offer!
The refrigerated MIKRO 22 R also accomodates cyto suspensions and tubes up to a capacity of 50 ml. The MIKRO 22 type centrifuges are used for routine examinations of patients` sera as well as in genetic research, virology, cytology and bacteriology. Capacity, performance and cooling of the MIKRO 22 R are specifically designed to meet the demands of PCR examinations. Super rapid run-up and run-down times shorten the centrifuging operations significantly without stirring the sediment during deceleration.
Features and Advantages of the MIKRO 22 Centrifuges:
Programmable: Three complete running programmes can be stored and recalled. Metal housing and metal lid, panelling finished in scratch and impact resistant coating. Centrifuging chamber of stainless steel, easy to clean, for additional safety steel-armoured. Lid with see-through glass for speed control during centrifugation. The inner lid is made of stainless steel. Ergonomic lid rail for safe and convenient locking and opening of the lid. Lid locking and holding device Brushless drive guarantees exceptionally smooth running and speed stability.
Performance:
RCF of max. 31,876 in angle rotor, max. speed: 18,000 rpm RCF of max. 18,516 in swing-out rotor, max. speed: 13,000 rpm RCF of max. 21,382 in hematocrit rotor, max. speed: 15,000 rpm
Automatic rotor recognition Imbalance switch-off Cooling with the MIKRO 22 R is steplessly controllable within a range of -20°C to +40°C.
Operation and Additional Features:
Clearly arranged, water-protected foil keypad for entering the parameters Three complete running programmes can be stored an recalled. Speed (RPM): Input in increments of 10. Radius (r): Input in mm. Short cycle mode Relative Centrifugal Force (RCF): Input in increments of 10. Running time (t): Input in minutes and seconds. Run-up/run-down time: Input of acceleration and braking ramp in levels 1 - 9 = unbraked run-down Temperature T/°C: With the MIKRO 22 R input in increments of 1°C within a range of -20°C to +40°C. Clearly arranged display: During centrifugation the actual values of the parameters are digitally displayed.
